Six seats with a full lounger position. The Enduro Max 600 sits between solo recovery and household-scale entertaining, and it does both well.
All 59 jets are there to soothe and work – tight shoulders, tired legs, lower back. The ozone water care system keeps water clean and clear with minimal effort, so most weeks the only chemical task is a quick test and adjust.
Perimeter and corner LED lighting with a waterline display take care of the evening look. Bluetooth speakers handle the audio. A complete, practical centrepiece for a serious garden setup.
Three ways to soak.
One that lasts a decade.
Most people start with an inflatable, and that's ok. When they find they enjoy the experience (and they almost always do!), the question becomes what to upgrade to for greater efficiency and a better experience. Here's what a Wellness Yard tub buys you against the realistic alternatives:
The numbers behind
the soak.
There's a lot of interesting findings in clinical trials of warm-water immersion, benefits to blood pressure, joint health, our nervous system and more. Here are three of the most-replicated findings:
Drop in resting systolic blood pressure after 8 weeks of regular tub use
Increase in lower-limb blood flow during a 30-minute soak at 39°C
Reduction in self-reported lower-back pain across a 12-week trial
What changes,
and when.
After just a few weeks of regular use, there are noticeable effects on sleep, recovery and lower-back stiffness, including other benefits:
- Day 1
Delivered, filled, soaking
The install team sites and commissions your tub in a single morning. By afternoon the water is up to temperature, balanced, and ready. Your first soak is the same evening, no waiting around.
- Week 1
Routine settles in
You find the temperature you like (most people land at 38–39 °C). The chemistry routine (a tab a week, filter rinse) takes about ten minutes total. The cover stays on between sessions; energy use is lower than people expect.
- Week 4
Sleep changes first
The post-soak sleep deepens. The slow drop in core temperature after you get out is what triggers it. Most owners notice it before any of the other effects. Resting heart rate starts to drift down a few beats over the month.
- Month 3
Settled rhythm
Three or four sessions a week becomes the default. The tub stops being something you have to talk yourself into and starts being part of how the day ends. Lower-back stiffness, where it existed, is usually noticeably better.
/01 How much does it cost to run?
Of course it depends on electric tariffs, but somewhere between £20–£40 per month on an economy tariff with the insulated cover on between sessions would be typical. The 32 A heater is efficient and the cover does most of the work overnight. Adding an Air Source Heat Pump with our bundle can drop those costs by roughly 75%. Same warm tub, a quarter of the electricity!
/02 Do I need an electrician?
It depends which power option you pick. The 13 A plug-and-play setup runs from a standard outdoor socket; no electrician needed. The 32 A hard-wired setup is faster to recover heat and runs more efficiently, but needs a qualified electrician to install the dedicated circuit. Most owners go 32 A.
/03 Where can I put it?
Anywhere flat, weight-bearing and within reach of the chosen power supply. Patio slabs, a poured concrete pad, or properly-built decking all work. Filled, the tub plus water sits between roughly 1.5 and 2.5 tonnes depending on the model, within the load capacity of any standard hard-landscaped surface. We send a site checklist before delivery.
/04 How heavy is it once filled?
Empty: 250–400 kg depending on size. Filled: roughly 1,500–2,500 kg with water and full bather load. That's the weight of a small car spread over the tub's footprint, so any standard concrete pad or properly-built deck handles it without modification. Crane lift is rare; the install team can almost always walk it in.
/05 How often do I change the water?
Every 3–4 months under normal household use. Drop a sanitiser tab in once a week, rinse the cartridge filter every 4–6 weeks. The filter pump handles most of the day-to-day; you're not running a swimming-pool chemical regimen.
/06 What about kids and pets?
The insulated cover is heavy enough to act as a physical deterrent and locks down with clips. Store with the cover on whenever the tub is unattended; same approach as a swimming pool. The internal heater and pumps are sealed and inaccessible from the bathing area.
/07 Does it work in winter?
Yes. This is what UK hot tubs are built for. The 32 A heater + insulated cover hold 39 °C through −5 °C ambient without straining. The freeze-protection cycle on the pumps prevents ice damage even during cold snaps. Most owners use the tub MORE in winter, not less.
/08 What if something breaks?
On new tubs, you've got a 10-year manufacturer warranty covering the shell, frame, plumbing and equipment. On refurbished tubs it's a 90-day parts-and-labour warranty (extendable to 12 months for £395). Either way: we serviced it, we delivered it, and we're who you call if something goes wrong. Local-to-UK service, no offshore call centres.
Pair with cold for the
full contrast threapy protocol.
Cycling between hot and cold (what the Nordic countries call kontrastbad) pumps blood through your vasculature in a way neither does alone. The data on its effect on sleep, mood and inflammation is the strongest in this whole field.
